Tall Can Sports 118: Noise About Silence
The New York Knicks recently ran part of the game with just the sound of the game and the crowd - no sound effects or loud thumping music... and the players complained a lot. The guys talk about whether or not sporting events are now way too overproduced or if it is simply now part of the expected experience and adds to the enjoyment.
Later on, the guys talk a little about the unique career of Jaromir Jagr as he closes in, sort of but not really, on one of Wayne Gretzky's landmarks. Did you know this friggin' guy has played for 8 damn teams? Can you name even 5 of them?
