We’re so excited to have Dan rejoin us and there was plenty to talk about including whether or not he’s discovered any new craft beers throughout the pandemic, who has the better Big Boy Broadcast Voice between Dan and Tim Micallef, what life has been like trying to call NCAA college basketball and Major League Baseball games through this pandemic, repeated trips and quarantines as he’s alternated between calling games from home, various TV studios and actual on site settings, the behind the scenes workings of this season’s Toronto Blue Jays broadcasts, balancing his new responsibility of doing a TV and radio presentation at the same time and plenty more.
And we of course took the opportunity to talk a little Blue Jays baseball with Mr Shulman and got his thoughts on the weird start the team is off to, which injuries he’s most concerned about, the slumping offence, pleasant surprises on the pitching front and lots more.
Dan is the best in the business at what he does and we are super excited he chose to come back and join TCA once more.
